Case: Obtaining a postponement from mobilization for military service

A Client from Kyiv contacted us with a request to “Get a postponement from mobilization”.

The Client had legal grounds for obtaining a postponement of mobilization, namely the provision of permanent care for his brother, who is a person with a disability.

Our military lawyer Michael Lobunko has scheduled a consultation for the Client. At the consultation, the documents and reasons for the postponement were analyzed. Michael explained the procedure, deadlines for the postponement, the algorithm of behavior in TCC and JV.

An agreement on the provision of legal assistance was signed with the Client.

The client did not show a desire to go to the TCC and JV, because his rights may be violated.

The lawyer prepared an application for adjournment, in which he argued the position of our Client with references to legal acts, added to it the necessary package of documents, issued a power of attorney from the Client and independently submitted an application to the TCC and JV and registered it.

After the deadline for consideration of the application passed, an attorney request was sent to obtain information on the status of consideration of the application for adjournment.

 

As a result, the Client received a positive response from the TCC and the JV, in which it was stated that he was granted a deferment from mobilization for a period of 1 year.
