For obtaining temporary protection abroad, it is necessary to confirm the date and fact of lawful departure from Ukraine. If there is no corresponding stamp in the passport or a foreign authority requires additional official confirmation, such a document may be information from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine regarding the crossing of the state border.

It can be obtained independently by applying to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine or through a lawyer. A lawyer’s request makes it possible to obtain the necessary information more promptly and does not require the client to personally contact the State Border Guard Service.

Client’s Situation

A client contacted “Prikhodko & Partners” who needed to obtain official confirmation of crossing the state border for the entire family — the father, mother, and child — in order to proceed with applying for temporary protection abroad.

What Did We Do?

The documents contained the necessary information about the family members’ border crossings, including the dates, directions, and border crossing points.

Result

The client received official confirmation of crossing the state border, which the family needed for further document processing and obtaining temporary protection abroad.

Thanks to the lawyer’s request, the client did not have to go through the procedure of obtaining the information from the State Border Guard Service independently, and the required documents were obtained within a short period of time.
