One of the special law-enforcement-type formations in the Armed Forces is the Military Law Enforcement Service. Its main task is to ensure the fulfillment of the requirements of the current Ukrainian legislation regarding military discipline and law and order among the servicemen of the Armed Forces. The law defines the total number of this special formation – no more than 1.5% of the total number of the Armed Forces.
