Case: We provided consulting support in obtaining a certificate of the LCC
Client: Tatiana
City: Odesa region
Purpose: Obtaining a certificate of LKK
Tatyana, a woman with a third disability group, faced a significant deterioration in her health. This prompted her to obtain a certificate from the LKK (medical advisory commission) about the need for constant care. However, the medical workers she contacted categorically stated that obtaining such a certificate in her case was impossible, based on the fact that this document is issued exclusively to people with a disability group I or II, which arose as a result of a mental disorder.
Contacting a medical lawyer
Faced with a refusal, Tatyana decided to seek professional legal help. Her choice fell on Eremenko Darya, who works in the medical field and specializes in such complex cases.
Fortunately for the client, the lawyer knew that the “Conclusion on the presence of cognitive impairment in elderly citizens, as a result of which they need to be provided with a social service for care on a non-professional basis” – approved by Order of the Ministry of Health 407 dated 09.03.2007, can be issued to a person, without the mandatory presence of a disability group.
This knowledge became key in developing a strategy to help the client.
Work process
- Detailed analysis. Eremenko Daria carefully studied all available medical documentation of the client, including the medical history, examination results and conclusions of specialists.
- Strategy development. Based on the analysis, the lawyer developed a comprehensive strategy of action aimed at achieving the desired result.
- Presentation of the plan. During a personal consultation, Daria presented the developed strategy to the client in detail. Tatyana received both an oral explanation of all stages and a written action plan for a better understanding of the process.
- Ongoing support. Throughout the entire process, the lawyer provided continuous consulting support. She was constantly in touch, promptly answering all the client’s questions and providing professional recommendations at each stage.
