Stages of trademark registration in Ukraine

2. Examination decision

3. Entering information on trademark registration in the State Register of Signs for Goods and Services

After a positive decision on the application is received, the applicant pays the state duty and the state fee.

The trademark protection certificate indicates the right of the owner to affix the international warning marking ® next to the trademark. This marking indicates that the trademark has been registered and is protected in accordance with current legislation.

The minimum list of documents required for trademark registration:

• For individuals – a passport.
• For legal entities – EDRPOU code.
