Specializing in migration law - processing documents on the territory of Ukraine, European Union countries (Poland, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Romania), providing visa assistance for Ukrainian citizens and foreigners.
Our company received a request from the Client to obtain a tourist visa to the USA and assess the chances of obtaining a visa. To analyze the case, the Client is provided with a questionnaire template to fill out.
After the analysis, the lawyer found that the Client has a sibling who is currently in the USA on the basis of the Uniting for Ukraine program, the Client’s travel history is not extensive enough, mainly only in EU countries. The Client has official employment and an active media history in Ukraine.
Also important information to provide is the availability of real estate and actively used bank accounts in Ukraine.
The Client, who contacted us, did not have, at the time of the application, movable and immovable property in Ukraine, but she actively used accounts in Ukrainian banks, therefore all relevant confirmations were provided and added to the questionnaire.
The first stage of the work is to book a date for submission, pay the consular fee and plan the Client’s travel for an interview at a US consulate abroad (to correctly fill in the data on the date of travel, place of stay, plan, etc. in the questionnaire).
After a detailed study of the Client’s history and preparation of the necessary documents, the immigration lawyer began working with the Client’s questionnaire. The deadline for filling it out is 1 day. At the end, a page with the Client’s personal data that was entered during the filling process is issued, and which can be changed one last time before receiving confirmation.
After filling out the questionnaire, the Client receives confirmation of filling out the questionnaire, which cannot be changed and is sent to the US consulate online.
After completing all the technical work, our lawyer Yelyzaveta moved on to the oral part of the support – preparing the Client for an interview with a consul at the US consulate. During the interview, all frequently asked questions to the Applicant are discussed, as well as questions regarding personal data, travel plans, etc.
Subsequently, the Client arrived at the US Embassy in Poland, successfully passed the interview and after 2 business days of waiting for her passport, received her passport with a 10-year visa to the USA attached.
This case study demonstrates the professionalism, competence and responsible approach to the case of immigration lawyer Yelyzaveta Mazur, who provided the maximum possible support to the Client and the result was not long in coming – the Client received a 10-year tourist visa to the USA!
