The client, a citizen of Ukraine, turned to the lawyers of the migration law practice of the company “Prikhodko & Partners” for help in obtaining the originals of his educational documents from the university archive.
Since the client lives abroad and has a residence permit in Kazakhstan, it is not possible to come to Ukraine and receive the documents in person. He plans to get a job in his specialty. However, it is not possible to do this without the original documents, which is why it was necessary to obtain them.
The complexity of the situation was as follows:
firstly, after graduating from the university and receiving the “Bachelor” degree, the client did not pass the bypass letter, which is one of the mandatory documents (according to the internal instructions of the universities) when the student receives the originals of the diploma and the supplement to the diploma;
secondly, during admission to the university, the client was provided with a “Description” of the original educational documents transferred for storage, which the client lost.
Article 40 of the Law of Ukraine “On Education” stipulates that upon successful completion of studies under the educational program, those seeking education (except pupils of preschool educational institutions) receive an appropriate document on education.
Therefore, the lawyers of the company “Prikhodko & Partners” quickly prepared all the necessary documents and turned to the university with a corresponding legal request.
The result of the work is the received originals of all the client’s educational documents that were in the university archive. Also, in order for the diplomas to be legalized for their use abroad, the client additionally ordered an apostille on educational documents based on our recommendation.
