DEPARTURE FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE

To go abroad for permanent residence, you need to take care of the execution of a package of necessary documents. This issue is resolved in the territorial division of the State Migration Service. You can apply for these documents in person.

Departure for permanent residence abroad: what documents are submitted?

First of all, you need to write and submit an appropriate application. Attached are 3 photographs. Their size should be 3.5 by 4.5 centimeters. If you are going to a department of the state migration service, then in addition to the original documents referred to in the list below, you need to take their copies. So this is:

  • Ukrainian passport;
  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad;
  • certificate of registration;
  • if the application is submitted by a man, then a military registration document should be presented.

In the case of obtaining a permit for permanent residence abroad, both or one of the parents of a child whose age is from 14 to 16 years must be provided with a notarized consent of the child – signed personally by the child.

Sometimes there are situations when one of the parents of the child does not give consent to his departure abroad. If the child has not reached the age of 16 and cannot yet determine the place of residence, then such permission can be obtained through the court.

To the entire list of the listed documents, you must add a check certifying the payment of the fee established by law.

Registration of departure for permanent residence: who has the right to apply?

If a person has reached the age of 16, then he submits the documents personally. When such a person is incapacitated or recognized as having limited capacity, this is done by one of the parents, trustees, guardians. Other legal representatives may also be involved.

Further, the territorial division of the State Migration Service must inform the applicant about the results of consideration of his application within 5 working days. And the applicant must withdraw from the place of registration where he lives in our country. After that, internal and international passports are submitted to the State Migration Service, where the corresponding mark is made.
