Obtaining a residence permit by representation
Foreign companies and banks have the right to establish their representative offices and branches in Ukraine. To work in such repoffices (from the representative office), both citizens of Ukraine and foreigners, as well as stateless persons, can be recruited.
All non-resident employees of representative offices of foreign companies are issued by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade with service cards valid for three years or until the end of their employment relationship with the employer. The service card of an employee of a foreign mission is the basis for obtaining a residence permit.
