During an attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine, a number of documents were seized from our Client by representatives of the border service, allegedly due to the fact that they are forged.
Taking into account the above, allegedly, by the fact of committing a criminal offense, provided for in Part 4 of Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, representatives of law enforcement agencies have started a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings.
Exactly one day later, in order to prevent further violation of constitutional rights and interests protected by the Law, the Client concluded an agreement on the provision of legal assistance by the lawyers of Prykhodko and Partners as part of the relevant criminal proceedings.
The main request of the Client was as follows:
- minimize the Client’s participation in any investigative and/or procedural actions;
- completion of the pre-trial investigation in the shortest possible time;
- criminal liability – a fine.
And therefore, in two days of procedural/investigative actions, the relevant criminal proceedings were closed – a plea agreement was signed and all goals set by the Client were achieved.
Currently, the Client received a penalty in the form of a fine in the amount of UAH 17,000.
