The client requested that the smoking mixture recipe be registered for his business. Since he developed such a combination of components that allowed him to provide a wide selection of tastes and interests of customers, he needed legal protection so that the corresponding solutions could not be copied or transferred.

Taking into account the fact that alternative methods of protection in this case are the registration of the brand as a trademark, which the client has already done, and trade secret (and thus complicates the protection due to the fact that the owner must prove that it was a trade secret), then registration of the recipe was chosen as an additional stage of protection.

After all, in the case of copyright registration, any copying of the work must be approved by the author, as well as the transfer of part of the text of the recipe or technological maps will actually be copying of the author’s work.
