04.03.2024 we were approached by a company specializing in the manufacture and installation of air tubes and accessories for them. They planned to expand production but made the difficult decision to relocate to the United States of America. In addition, the client wanted not just to relocate the business, but also to choose a form of personal legalization in the USA for himself and his staff.
As soon as they saw our advertisement and found out that it was possible to get funding from the state, they needed to buy the necessary equipment from abroad, we announced all the terms of cooperation and the conditions of the program itself, the obligations and nuances.
Stages of work
After several stages of negotiations, on 10.03.2024, the contract was signed and the client received a questionnaire to fill out so that we could start developing a relocation plan and prepare a tax consultation.
14.03.2024 the client sent us a questionnaire and we began to develop a relocation plan, in parallel, he was preparing a package of documents (contracts, reports, etc.) that had to be sent to the bank after the successful completion of the first stage, so we prepared samples of these documents in advance.
20.03.2024 We provided the client with a legal opinion regarding the tax burden in the USA, taking into account several options for the operation of his business: the purchase of components for a new air pipe from a European country or from China, or the transportation of an existing air pipe from Ukraine. We also offered legalization options for founders and staff on E-2 and EB-5 visas as part of the business consultation.
After analyzing all the pros and cons of business relocation, the client decided to continue his activities in Ukraine.
