Sofia is the owner of a sports club with a focus on veterans, the military, rescuers of the State Emergency Service, and police officers. The club has rehabilitation programs and provides significant discounts to target categories.

On April 11, the grant program of the Veterans Foundation “Worth Acting” in the amount of up to UAH 1.5 million for veterans and their family members was announced. The task was to quickly prepare a competitive application and accompany the process of submission, communication and presentation of the project to the commission.
What we did
- We conducted a preliminary compliance audit: we analyzed the club’s activities, the terms of the program and confirmed full compliance with the criteria.
- We formed project goals and agreed on key results metrics.
- We developed a detailed estimate and financial part.
- We accompanied the collection and verification of documents by the client.
- We have prepared and submitted a full package of applications on the fund’s portal.
- We promptly eliminated technical comments (reloading/file quality).
- We prepared the client for the online presentation: structure, accents, answers to questions.
- After the announcement of the results, the victory is supported: opening an account, submitting additional documents, starting the sale.
Chronology
- 11.04 — announcement of the program “It is worth acting”.
- 14.04 — Sophia’s appeal; preliminary compliance audit and approval of the format of cooperation.
- 15–24.04 — coordination of project goals, estimates; collection of documents.
- 25.04 — submission of the application: all documents, financial part and estimate have been uploaded.
- 07.05 — technical comments were received (some files were not loaded/low quality); fixed on the same day.
- 05.06 — letter of admission to the presentation of the project; formal recommendations to the application and estimate were provided – amendments were made.
- 11.06 — an online presentation was held before the commission.
- 17.06 — our project is on the list of winners for a maximum amount of 1.5 million hryvnias; preparation for concluding documents and opening an account.
- 04.07 — the first part of the tranche was received; the client started the project.
Result
- Status: winning the competition and receiving funding (the first tranche was credited on 04.07).
- Impact: launching rehabilitation programs and expanding the club’s services for veterans and law enforcement.
