Case: Receiving a grant of UAH 8 million to launch the production of edible ice

Stage 1: Contact and preliminary consultations
On April 3, the assistant director of the company contacted us with a request to consult on the possibility of participating in the grant program. We promptly provided basic information, outlined the opportunities and preliminary requirements.
The next day, a Zoom meeting was organized with the business owner, where we discussed in detail the terms of cooperation, requirements for the applicant, and the specifics of the selected grant program.
Stage 2: Preliminary analysis and signing of the contract
Our manager checked the company’s business reputation, the compliance of the selected equipment with the terms of the grant, and also explained all legal and financial obligations to the state in case of victory. After all the details were agreed, a service agreement was signed.
Stage 3: Agreement with the supplier and preparation of the application
Over the following weeks, we accompanied the client in negotiations with the equipment supplier: we clarified the characteristics of the line, the cost of delivery, installation and other technical nuances.
After signing the preliminary agreement with the supplier, the active phase of writing a business plan, collecting the necessary information and preparing documents began.
Stage 4: Application submission and interview support
On April 25, we submitted an application and developed a business plan on the DIYA portal. On May 1, the client was invited to an online interview, an appointment was made to inspect the production premises, and a request for a package of documents was made.
We prepared the client for the meeting and interview, formed the correct package of documents, and also helped prepare answers to typical bank questions. After that, the wait for a decision began.
Stage 5: Additional verification and approval
On May 20, the client was contacted by the Employment Center, and they again wanted to visit the premises where the production launch is planned, as it turned out, the Ministry of Economy transferred the application to the Central Employment Center.
After inspecting the premises and re-interviewing the project director, we again began to expect the result.
Stage 6: Receiving funds and implementing the project
On June 6, the client received official confirmation of the victory. He opened a separate account, made his own contribution to it, and on July 1, state funds were credited.
The project was officially launched: equipment began to arrive, and the production of edible ice began.
Result
A grant in the amount of 8 million UAH was successfully received. The company is moving into the active phase of launching production. We continue to support the implementation of the project until its full completion.
