Case: Obtaining a grant for a processing enterprise of up to UAH 8 000 000 for a company producing biologically active supplements
The company turned to us for help in obtaining a grant for a processing enterprise of up to UAH 8,000,000.
The company is a Ukrainian manufacturer of biologically active supplements, which has been operating since 2016. The company specializes in the manufacture of dietary supplements in the city of Kyiv, providing products in the following main areas: cardio-neurological, gastro-surgical, urogynecological, contract manufacturing.
Among the company’s main products are dietary supplements such as “Olicid”, “Izirel”, “Ursogepavin”, “Krateprovin” and many others. The company has good financial performance, has over 100 employees and has a good business reputation.
It has a fully operational process and plans to increase production capacity by purchasing new equipment: a blister machine DPP-260KI-2 and a cartoning machine ZH120, which will help them automate the packaging process.
The total cost of the project was UAH 9,400,000 according to the program terms, 50% of own funds of UAH 4,700,000 were required.
We fully conducted the initial consultation and explained the terms of the program. The company agreed and we signed the contract and started creating a business plan, the company provided all the information quickly, as it was interested in how to get a grant as quickly as possible.
We created a business plan and submitted an application, but after 15 days, an official refusal came due to non-payment of 3 days of mandatory payments (which were paid on time, but the bank did not pass on time).
The company resolved all the issues and my team and I re-submitted the application. After 5 days, the company received a letter from OschadBank that they would come to the company and request a list of documents.
Together, we collected a list of documents and prepared for the interview. The company showed everything at the company and passed the interview very well, which lasted for one hour.
Within 3 weeks, a letter came from the Ministry of Economy that we were approved for a grant and we scored 49 points out of a maximum of 50. The company opened a separate account within 10 days and deposited its own funds.
Within 4 weeks, the grant funds arrived and the company has already used the funds and is working on new equipment.
