Verification of a doctor’s diploma
In Ukraine, the process of issuing a Good Standing certificate is regulated by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 149 dated 02/17/2023. Before obtaining a certificate, a verification of a doctor’s diploma and professional experience is carried out, which includes:
- verification of the authenticity of education and qualification documents;
- confirmation of completion of internship, clinical residency, advanced training;
- analysis of work experience and scientific achievements;
- verification of the absence of disciplinary or judicial sanctions.
Verification is carried out by the responsible verifier of the authorized body of the healthcare institution. Based on the results of the verification, an official certificate of professional qualifications and integrity is issued.
How to obtain a Good Standing certificate in Ukraine?
The process of obtaining a certificate includes several key steps:
Preparation of documents
- diploma and its supplement;
- certificates of internship, residency, advanced training courses;
- documents on awarding academic degrees or qualification categories;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a foreign passport;
- documents on changing the surname (if any).
Submission of application and questionnaire
- the application and verification questionnaire are submitted to the authorized body of the healthcare institution;
