Military Law Attorney

To strengthen and develop our firm, we are seeking an attorney specializing in military law.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Legal support for the process of obtaining a draft deferment during mobilization for military personnel/discharge procedures for military personnel;
• Providing consultations on military law and other mobilization issues, formulating recommendations for clients;
• Providing consultations on transfers, discharges, mobilization and demobilization, and military medical commissions; providing legal support to military personnel, those liable for military service, and their families;
• Analyzing legislative changes in military law and other mobilization issues, industry regulations, and judicial practice;
• Drafting procedural documents.

Required skills and knowledge:

• Higher education;
• At least 1 year of experience in military law;
• Knowledge of administrative and criminal law;
• In-depth knowledge of the legal framework for military law and certain other mobilization issues (Laws of Ukraine “On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization,” “On Military Duty and Military Service,” and relevant resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine);
• Ability to quickly find necessary information and data;
• High personal culture;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Results-oriented.
