Lawyer/assistant lawyer practicing migration law

“Prikhodko&Partners” is a law firm specializing in full and comprehensive legal services for businesses and individuals. Our activity is based primarily on the specialization of the team, which includes lawyers, legal advisers, tax consultants, auditors, accountants.

In order to strengthen the team, we are looking for an assistant to the head of the practice (department) of migration law.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• providing consultations on migration law and immigration matters for Ukrainian citizens and foreign nationals relocating to EU countries;
• assisting with the acquisition of tourist visas for various countries (including Canada, the USA, the UK, Asian countries, etc.);
• assisting with the process of obtaining temporary protection status in EU countries;
• possessing foundational knowledge and an understanding of the procedures for acquiring citizenship in EU countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Greece;
• experience working with archival institutions in Ukraine (considered an advantage);
• knowledge of the legal grounds and procedures for obtaining temporary or permanent residence permits in EU countries (considered an advantage);
• attracting new clients;
• attracting new partners to develop the practice;
• ability to learn quickly and absorb new information;
• strong teamwork skills and an open, communicative approach;
• providing commentary for the media;
• participating in various initiatives, such as developing new practice tools and service areas, writing articles for publication, and creating thematic videos.

Required skills and knowledge:

• higher legal education;
• knowledge of the English language at a conversational level (B1\B2);
• understanding of the basic principles of marketing;
• understanding the mechanisms of attracting customers;
• initiative, diligence, stress resistance, exceptional legal literacy, creative thinking, critical thinking, ability to find solutions to crisis situations.
