Back in 2015, the National Bank of Slovakia stated that bitcoin does not have the necessary features of a currency, which means that it will not be regulated by the state. Transactions with cryptocurrencies in the country are not prohibited or restricted in any way. Accordingly, there is limited legislative regulation in the country.
