The work permit is obtained according to this algorithm, you must first find an employer, enter into an employment contract with him, on the basis of which the Cypriot company must obtain a permit and after these stages a person can apply to the consulate for a work visa.

Cypriot law sets working time requirements – working hours may not exceed 8 hours per day, no more than 48 hours per week. Two days off is required.

There are also wage requirements – the average salary is 1,932 euros per month for one person.

The minimum wage is set – sellers, nannies, clerks and caretakers can not receive less than 874 euros per month, with a further increase in such a salary – 924 euros.
