ONLINE CONSULTING SERVICE “CONSULTANT” WAS IN THE FINAL Innovating Justice Challenge 2020

 The Innovating Justice Challenge 2020 international competition for legal innovations has been launched under the auspices of the Hague Institute for Innovation in Law (HiiL), to which Ukrainian projects have the opportunity to participate for the fifth year in a row.

 The program promotes synergies between IT, the public and the public sector. Well-known graduates of the program include teams such as AXDRAFT, Opendatabot, Palm Court, PatentBot, Vkursi, Pinky Solutions, AirLaw.Pro and others.

 The Consultant project is one of the selected teams that will undergo a regional incubation program, which will begin in September. Innovators will gain knowledge in business modeling, financial planning, communication and marketing strategies.

 Upon completion, the teams will present their ideas to the public and all stakeholders. The best projects will be able to pass the global acceleration program, receive a grant for the development of their product and access to an international network of mentors and potential funding in the future.

 Who participated in the competition?

 Startups, lawyers, entrepreneurs, representatives of law firms and the public sector take part in the competition in an effort to introduce a modern approach to preventing and solving legal problems that can befall a person in everyday life.

 The "Consultant" project reached the finals of the Innovating Justice Challenge 2020, passing such criteria as:

involvement of innovation in the subject of the competition;

viability of the business model;

scalability;

the ability of the project to create social impact;

team competencies.

  Who are the organizers?

 This year, the local HiiL Innovating Justice Challenge program is implemented by the NGO Legal Innovations with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Kyiv Legal Hackers community and financial support from the International Renaissance Foundation.
