STATE SECURITY OF THE MILITARY. HOW SHOULD THE STATE PREPARE THE MILITARY TO ENCOUNTER THE ENEMY?

A large-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for more than 8 months. During this time, thousands of citizens were mobilized for the army. And for all those mobilized, the question of their provision is acute. If we take the first months of the war, the problems of finding the necessary equipment, first-aid kits and other things needed when meeting with the enemy fell on the shoulders of the soldiers themselves, their relatives and volunteers. But many people ask themselves questions about the state provision of the military.

Mobilization and state support

It is worth noting that from the moment a person is mobilized for military service, the state undertakes to fully provide for this person. This includes provision of uniforms, means of personal protection (body armor, helmet, etc.), that is, material provision. If a serviceman is not provided with these things, this is a direct violation of the requirements of the Law and the rights of a serviceman. Many people do not know that they are entitled to these things and buy them at their own expense or at the expense of volunteers.

It is important to emphasize that if a serviceman did not use material support or purchased it independently, then upon discharge from military service he must be paid compensation for unused material support. Due to the fact that military personnel do not have such information, such compensation is often not paid upon dismissal from service.

Mobilization and sending to the front

The second no less important moment when the rights of servicemen are often violated is sending them to the front line immediately after mobilization. Although it was repeatedly emphasized in the mass media that the mobilized must first undergo training. That is, immediately after mobilization, the serviceman should be provided with material property, and then sent to training sessions. The duration of such meetings is determined individually, depending on the military specialty and other factors.

If a mobilized person is immediately sent to the front, this is a gross violation of the rights of a serviceman.

At the legislative level, the state established the rights of military personnel during mobilization and their preparation for meeting with the enemy, but due to the inactivity of individuals, these rights and guarantees are not respected.

Of course, it is important for any citizen to know his rights and be able to protect them. In the conditions of war, it is very important for military personnel to be able to protect themselves not only on the battlefield, but also their right to state support.

If a person understands that he is subject to mobilization, the least he can do is consult a specialist. After all, it is the lawyer on military law who will be able to provide all the answers to the most common questions regarding military service and state support for military personnel. Ignorance of one's rights leads to their violation. And it is better to know them in advance, before going to the front.
