First, it should be noted that possession of a garage in the cooperative has nothing to do with the right to own a garage. As long as you are a member of the cooperative, your garage, but with the termination of membership, all garage rights are discontinued. In order to fully dispose of the garage and have the right to donate it, sell it or otherwise dispose of it, it is necessary to register it in the State Register of real rights to real estate.

A necessary condition for obtaining the title to the garage located in the garage cooperative is the registration of such a cooperative as a legal entity in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations.
To register the garage ownership, the applicant must have the following documents:
• a document confirming the assignment of the real estate object address;
• a document confirming acceptance of the object in operation, if the construction of the facility was carried out after August 5, 1992;
• a certificate of the cooperative about the membership of the cooperative and the contribution of such a member to the cooperative in full amount;
• technical passport for the garage.
The state registration of the right of ownership is carried out in a term which does not exceed five working days from the day of submission of the application to the subject of the state registration. A state fee of 0.1 minimum wage for able-bodied persons is charged for state registration. As a result, the garage owner must receive an extract from the State Register of Real Property Rights for Real Estate.
It should be noted that state registration of ownership of an independent garage is possible only if such a garage meets the signs of immovable things. Metal garages and garages without a foundation are not such as their movement will not devalue the design.
