An association is a non-profit organization and is not intended to generate profits for its distribution among co-owners.

The association is responsible for its obligations with the funds and property of the association, acquires property and non-property rights and obligations on its own behalf, acts as a plaintiff or defendant in court.

The convening of the constituent assembly is carried out by the owner of the building or the initiative group, which consists of not less than three owners of apartments or non-residential premises.

A member of the association may be a natural or legal person who owns an apartment (apartment) or a room (premises) in an apartment building.
