RESIDENCE THROUGH INVESTMENT

 Ukraine is one of the last European countries to adopt a number of regulations aimed at attracting foreign investors.

 Thanks to its fast growing economy, Ukraine is recognized as a reliable partner of the European Union, which in 2016 lifted all travel restrictions for Ukrainian citizens. To further accelerate the country's economic growth, the Ukrainian parliament passed a series of laws that allowed investors to apply for permanent residence and citizenship in a greatly simplified and shortened procedure.

 Ukraine offers permanent residence by investment to all foreign citizens and their families (spouses and children under 18). A permanent residence permit is issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. This gives a person the same rights as a citizen of Ukraine, with the exception of the right to vote.

The investor must register his company in Ukraine;

Open a company bank account in a Ukrainian bank and invest 100,000 US dollars in it.

 In exchange for this safe investment, applicants from all nationalities can obtain permanent residence with only two legitimate visits to Ukraine. The applicant will have to travel to apply for a permanent residence permit and then apply and receive their ID.

 The applicant must have a valid passport or other overseas travel document and have a clean criminal record.

 Close family members of the investor have the right to acquire permanent residence and obtain Ukrainian citizenship in several ways. The main applicant's spouse and unmarried children under the age of 18 are eligible to become permanent residents after the main applicant has been granted resident status. The spouse of the main applicant is entitled to this only if the spouses were married for at least 3 years at the time of application. The applicant's spouses and children are eligible for permanent residence. However, they will not be granted citizenship at the same time as the applicant.

 The applicant must apply for a permanent residence permit and identity card in Ukraine. Applicants are not required to stay in Ukraine during the entire process.

 There are a number of documents that need to be prepared and legalized, including, but not limited to:

police clearance certificate;

marriage certificate;

proof of funds, etc.
