Repeated passing of the military medical commission

The Military Medical Commission (MMC) is a special medical commission that assesses the medical fitness of citizens for military service or other mandatory military formations.

Passing the military medical commission is a mandatory process of assessing the physical and mental state of citizens, in order to resolve the issue of their fitness for military service.

During the process of the commission, a medical examination is carried out, during which doctors assess the general state of health, physical development, the presence of chronic diseases, disorders and injuries, as well as the mental state of the candidate for military service. It is important that the person is able to perform military duties and has no medical contraindications.

If certain medical problems are detected during the military medical examination, this may lead to dismissal from military service.

To carry out military medical examination, military medical commissions (hereinafter referred to as MMC), full-time and part-time (permanent and temporary) are created.

A repeat or control medical examination may be conducted by decision of the regular MMC.

Sending for re-passing of the MMC can be in the event that the previous conclusion of the MMC has been completed, and then they can be sent to the MMC to update the data.

The term of validity of the conclusion of the MMC is stipulated in the order of the Ministry of Health № 402, in accordance with paragraph 3.8, the validity of the conclusion of the MMC for conscripts is defined as 6 months.

The resolution of the MMC on the degree of suitability of a military serviceman for military service is valid for 12 months from the moment of the medical examination.

Sending for repeated MMC can be after injury or treatment to establish further suitability for service.

In general, if the health has deteriorated, the serviceman has the right to submit a corresponding report on passing the MMC before the established deadline. The number of MMCpasses is not determined by law. To submit a report to the MMC, it is necessary to collect an appropriate set of documents.

The report should be made in two copies. One of them is presented to the commander. You keep the second copy for yourself, but it must also be presented during registration to fix the date and number. Sometimes situations may arise when the commander refuses to accept the report. In this case, you can send the document by registered mail with a request to receive confirmation of its delivery.

Also, if the state of health is unsatisfactory or deteriorating and all medical documentation is available to confirm this, the decision of the MMC can be appealed. After an appeal, the Central Military Commission may make a decision regarding the conduct of a control medical examination and a medical examination of the military personnel in order to determine suitability for military service.
