Registration of a permanent residence permit on the basis of – children are citizens of Ukraine outside the quota category.

A permanent residence permit gives a foreign citizen or stateless person a lot of advantages, such as prolonged stay in Ukraine, visa-free entry, no additional costs for frequent visa applications, and employment without additional permits. Also, a permanent residence permit equates a foreigner with the rights to citizens of Ukraine, except for the right to elect and to be elected.

In accordance with paragraph 1 part 3 of Art. 4 of the Law of Ukraine "On Immigration" foreigners and stateless persons who are the parents of Ukrainian citizens, that is, their child was born on the territory of Ukraine, have the right to obtain a permit for immigration.

Persons who are legally in Ukraine and have this reason - to the LCI of Ukraine in Kiev, make a statement and necessary documents.

The term for reviewing the application does not exceed one year from the date of filing an application.

After all inspections (Security Service of Ukraine, Border Guard Service, Interpol), the Migration Service inspector makes a decision on issuance-authorization for immigration.
