RECORDS ON WORK ACTIVITIES ON THE PFU PORTAL, HOSPITAL, EXPERIENCE AND ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEES

It is important for each employee that his employment relationship is properly formalized and information about his work activity is not lost. Since 2021, work has been introduced in Ukraine to fill out electronic work books, submit sick leave in electronic form. This was supposed to simplify the work of both employers and employees, because the Pension Fund and the Social Insurance Fund could see all the necessary information about the employee's work activity.

Employment records on the PFC portal

Since July 15, 2022, there have been some changes in the provision of information about the work activity of an employee in electronic form for PFCs.

In particular, these changes relate to the transfer of information about the work activity of an employee to the PFC in digitized form. That is, the employee's work book must be scanned and sent to PFC files with the employer's digital signature overlaid. First of all, information about the labor activity of employees who have less than two years left before retirement should be worked out.

Employees also have the opportunity and the right to submit personally through the PFC portal information about their work activities. That is, an employee who is not currently working and has a work book on hand can scan it and, with a digital signature, submit the PFC through the web portal.

Information on the work book is provided only on completed pages. If the labor pages are not filled out, there is no need to submit them.

Sick leaves

Accounting for sick leave is carried out in such a way that the medical institution independently sends information about the disability of the employee to the PFU. The PFC assigns him a special number, after which the insured and the employer electronically see information about the temporary disability of the employee. This simplifies the work of both the employer and the employee, because there is no need to rush around with paper sheets of disability.

It should be noted that the amount of sick leave payments directly depends on the insurance period of the employee, the higher the insurance period, the higher the amount of sick leave the employee can receive.

Experience

Through the electronic services of the PFC, namely through a personal account, each citizen can see all the necessary information about his experience. In case of discrepancy or non-recruitment of a certain period of work in the length of service, a person may apply to the PFU to eliminate or correct inaccuracies.

Help for workers

Lump sum material benefits to an employee are shown in the statements as benefits that are not included in taxable income. They are displayed in the 4DF application.

Consequently, the electronic transformation of documents has greatly simplified the work of both employers and employees. Thanks to the PFC portal, you can track the work activity, length of service and other necessary information of the employee, and in case of inaccuracies, promptly make adjustments.
