PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS FOR OBTAINING A VISA FOR ENTRY TO UKRAINE

For a legal stay on the territory of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless persons must have supporting documents. Such documents are temporary or permanent residence permits or visas for stay in Ukraine.

A visa is a document that allows you to enter the territory of Ukraine for the purpose of temporary stay or transit to other countries through the territory of Ukraine.

For what period can a visa be issued?

Depending on the need, the authorities authorized to issue visas issue visas of three types: transit (up to 5 days), short-term and long-term.

Citizens of other states (foreigners) or persons who do not have any citizenship.

Necessary documents for obtaining a visa:

Depending on the type of visa to be obtained, the list of documents may vary. But it is mandatory to submit the following documents:

• First, it must be a passport-type document that certifies identity. It is important that this document has free pages to fill in (at least 2), and it must also be valid for at least 3 months after the planned date of departure from Ukraine.
• Secondly, the questionnaire, which is filled out and submitted personally by the applicant.
• Thirdly, a photo card.
• Fourth, biometric data (usually fingerprints).
• Fifth, a health insurance policy that is valid.
• Sixth, documents that can confirm the financial status of the person who wants to get a visa.
• Seventh, a receipt for the payment of the consular fee.

This is a list of documents that are required to obtain any type of visa. But, for example, to obtain a short-term or long-term visa, it is additionally necessary to add an invitation from a citizen of Ukraine or a state body of Ukraine. And for a transit visa - a document confirming transit passage.

When can I get it?

Not earlier than three months before the planned date of entry into the territory of Ukraine.

Registration period

The processing period depends on which visa to issue, if it is an ordinary visa, then 10 working days, and if it is urgent - 5. But this period is counted from the day of submission of the complete package of documents.

Cost

The cost of issuing a visa is 65 USD, if an urgent visa is 130 USD.
