PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPING CHILDREN IN UKRAINE

On April 3, 2018, the TV channel "PRYMAYY" discussed the adoption of children in Ukraine, with the participation of lawyer Andriy Prykhodko, a psychologist and a spectator of the channel. The situation, which took place in the video, was the basis for discussing the problems that arise in Ukraine with adoption.

First, decide on the issue of adopting a child or simply keeping up with the upbringing. Keeping on upbringing does not create family legal consequences, the person who carries out the upbringing of the child until the child reaches the age of majority is not her parents, and therefore, at any moment, there may be adopters and apply for a child. However, in the case of adoption of a child, the child becomes deprived of the status of an orphan, and therefore loses all state benefits and benefits. 

Secondly, in the event of a dispute between persons who have expressed the intention to adopt a child, in accordance with Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the pre-emptive right to adoption is given, to persons at the education of which the child is. However, in any case, the decision on the adoption is taken exclusively by the court, and therefore in the court session it is necessary to bring all the arguments and evidence that the adoption of you will be the most positive for the child. 

Thirdly, in the case of a clear violation of your rights by civil servants, it is necessary to prepare a well-grounded complaint to the Ministry of Youth and Sport. In case of revealing circumstances that clearly indicate official criminal cases, including corruption, it is necessary to address the relevant statements to law enforcement agencies.
