Overview of international grants for IT entrepreneurs

In recent years, the field of information technology (IT) has gained great importance as an opportunity for innovative development and economic growth of the country as a whole. It includes the allocation of funds to the following areas: the development of high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, data analysis and cloud services, as well as improving the digital skills of the European population as a whole. The total budget of the program is 7.6 billion euros.
• 2) The program from the SEIER Foundation is its main goal of financing blockchain startups in Ukraine. Enterprises that will be funded by cash under this program will be able to access technical support and advice from “Tacans” (Swiss-Ukrainian blockchain venture company). This support includes platform and software development, user interface design (UI/UX), use of cloud services, blockchain solutions and distributed ledger technologies (DLT), big data analysis and analytics. The aid is divided into grant funding, small investments in the project up to 100,000 euros, and significant investments, which will reach more than 100,000 euros. The total grant budget is 10 million euros.
• 3) The USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program is its main goal to ensure the resumption of business processes and provide monetary support to the IT, engineering, manufacturing and services sectors, as well as funding for the creative industries. The total budget of the program is UAH 36 million, which should be distributed among about 50 grants for entrepreneurs. The amount of each grant will vary from UAH 600,000 to UAH 1,200,000.
