MARRIAGE OR DIVORCE WITH A FOREIGNER

Today, Ukraine has become the most attractive for immigration and paperwork on its territory. The Ukrainian state is more famous for its national customs and traditions, which subsequently attract foreign citizens to stay here for a long period of time. Speaking of the marriage registration procedure itself, first of all, the brides certify the statutory application and submit it to the civil registration department. The actual presence of both husband and wife is important. After they have submitted it personally, or with the help of our help, the registry office accepts it and further acquaints the spouses with their rights and obligations, informs them of the right to undergo a medical commission to determine their health status (like every person in Ukraine, they have the right to refuse from passing the commission). Finally, the applicants subsequently agree together on the date and time of the marriage. Usually, marriage registration is carried out one month after agreement, but there are usually exceptions when it can be done in an expedited manner.

To register a marriage in Ukraine, you must provide the following documents:

• Any document of legal force, confirming your face and confirming the legality of your stay in Ukraine.
• The next important document is a document on the absence of marriage with another person. If the surname has changed, then a document on the change of surname.
• Some individual states also require proof of a clean criminal record in their country of origin and place of official registration in the same country.

Unfortunately, divorce also has the other side of the coin - divorce. Divorce between a citizen of Ukraine and a foreigner is carried out both in court and through the registry office. An important criterion is the fact that if a foreigner and a Ukrainian live on the territory of Ukraine at the time of dissolution of marriage, then the procedure is carried out by analogy with the procedure for dissolution of marriage of citizens of Ukraine.
