What are the stages of the MCC for children?

1. Referral to a doctor. The first step is to see a pediatrician or family doctor. The doctor will conduct an initial examination of the child, collect anamnesis and, if necessary, send for additional examinations.
2. Collection of documents. The following documents must be prepared to pass the MCC:

• Passport of one of the parents or legal representative of the child.
• Child's birth certificate.
• Child's medical card.
• Results of additional examinations (if available).

3. Passing examinations. MCC for children consists of a comprehensive examination, which may include:

• Examination by doctors of various specialties (pediatrician, surgeon, neurologist, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, dentist, psychologist, etc.).
• Functional and laboratory studies.
• Psychological and pedagogical examination.

4. Obtaining a conclusion. After completion of the examination, the LCC issues a conclusion that contains information about the child's health, recommendations for his education, upbringing and socialization.

The Medical Advisory Board (MAB) plays an important role in the process of determining disability, both for children and adults.
