Legislative framework of the issue
The new privatization rules are regulated by amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Privatization of Communal and State Property". At the legal level, the rules were changed and the specifics of privatization were established for the duration of martial law in Ukraine.

According to Article 8 of the Law "On the Privatization of Communal and State Property", a decision on privatization is made no later than one month after the submission of all necessary documents.
The following are eligible for privatization: citizens of Ukraine who permanently live in apartments or residential premises of dormitories of the state housing fund and/or need improvement of living conditions.
