How to get an Medical Advisory Commission conclusion?

How does the MAC decide on providing a conclusion on the need for constant care?

1. First, the medical commission examines the data and information that the family doctor of the medical institution entered into the form of the primary accounting documentation, namely, the medical card of the outpatient patient. It may contain data on existing diseases that a person has acquired during his life or defects that he has from birth.
2. The next stage is to establish the availability of information on whether the patient is sick and cannot move, or care for himself due to an existing disease or functional disorders in the body.
3. Then there is an analysis of existing diseases in the citizen and an assessment of the person's ability to perform elementary or complex actions. If, as a result of the analysis, the circumstances in the need for permanent external care are confirmed, the commission provides the following recommendations, namely:

• permanent stay of the patient in daycare at home;
• provision of social care services by an individual on a non-professional basis.

For what period is the MAC opinion issued?

If the person applying to the medical commission has a permanent disability, then the conclusion of the MAC may be issued without an expiration date.

However, if the disability is established for a certain period, then the conclusion of the MAC is issued for no more than 12 months. This provision also applies to other categories of persons who do not have a disability but apply to the commission for an opinion of the MAC.

When filling out the appropriate form of the conclusion of the LLC, the date of its issuance to the person is set in it, and thus the validity of this legal document is counted from that moment.

In addition, the conclusion of the MAC should also contain the signatures of all members of the medical commission and the affixed seal of the healthcare institution, otherwise, it will not have legal force.
