GRANT UP TO 1.5 MILLION UAH FOR THE BUSINESS INITIATIVE OF VETERANS

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, many men have been courageously defending their Motherland for more than 2 years in a row. During this time, many citizens managed to receive battle wounds and become war veterans.

In order to return to civilian life, such persons usually undergo medical rehabilitation and also plan to open their own business in the future in order to gradually adapt after the events they experienced.

Therefore, in order to support war veterans, as well as their families (including husbands and wives) and family members of deceased war veterans and fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Veterans Fund launched a grant program for opening their own business.

How to take part in this program - this is what we will talk about in this informative article.

Who can apply for funding under the grant program?

• War veterans, family members of deceased war veterans, as well as family members of deceased (deceased) defenders of Ukraine, must be registered as a non-profit organization, in accordance with current Ukrainian legislation;
• Official husband and wife of war veterans, who must be registered as FOP, if their projects are aimed at the gradual restoration of physical and mental health of veterans, as well as their adaptation to current conditions in civilian life;
• War veterans, family members of deceased war veterans, as well as family members of fallen (deceased) defenders of Ukraine, who registered a legal entity no later than one year before submitting the corresponding application for the grant program.

What are the purposes for which financial assistance cannot be directed?

• payment for the preparation of documents for participation in the grant program;
• purchase of goods, performance of works, or provision of services that are not specified in the final contract on the implementation of the project within the framework of the grant program;
• purchase of goods for citizens who do not participate in the implementation of the project within the framework of the grant program;
• permanent maintenance of both legal entities and individuals, as well as representatives of public associations acting as participants of the grant program;
• repayment of debt due to previously taken credit obligations in financial institutions of Ukraine;
• provision of future payments and expenses;
• repayment of any fines, penalties, or compensation for damages as part of legal proceedings;
• other financial obligations that arose before receiving financial support from the grantor.

What amount can be received?

As part of the grant program, it is planned to allocate monetary financing from 500,000 to 1,500,000 million hryvnias for one grantee.

What is the deadline?

The final deadline for submitting applications is March 18, 2024.
