Grant for women’s business up to UAH 750,000

We offer to the attention of budding entrepreneurs and women with an active business, where they are either full-fledged founders or owners of 50% or more of the company's authorized capital, the opportunity to receive grant financing in the amount of up to 750,000 hryvnias.

This program is implemented directly with the participation of the grantor L'Oréal Paris in partnership with some of the leading banks of Ukraine.

According to the terms of the project, the purpose of the non-returnable financial aid is to help support women who, despite the war, difficult life circumstances, etc., are looking for opportunities to start their own business or further develop (sustainability of) an already established business.

The main requirements for female candidates are the following:

• women must be citizens of Ukraine over the age of 18;
• applicants must either have a developed and detailed business idea, or describe the business they are currently engaged in (as sole traders or owners of the authorized capital of a legal entity);
• priority will be given to those projects and businesses where the presence of a social, ecological or innovative part can be clearly traced. For example, the implementation of a business project should contribute; meeting the needs of the vulnerable population (women, persons with disabilities, veterans, etc.); creation of new jobs; implement the creation and promotion of renewable energy sources with the minimization of damage to the environment; creation of a completely new product that had not been in Ukraine before (startup project).

It is also worth emphasizing that special attention in the context of the grant program from L'Oréal Paris will be given to business projects that involve the creation of a barrier-free environment using digital interaction technologies.

According to the terms of this program, 12 finalists of the competition who meet all the above requirements and have submitted a grant application by September 30, 2024 (inclusive) will be able to receive funding in the amount of up to 750,000 hryvnias.

As part of the competition, women will also have the opportunity to communicate with the mentors of the program and gain useful knowledge and skills in the course of the training sessions.

In addition, the applicants will also be subject to a check of their business reputation, namely: an analysis of credit history, honesty in paying taxes and other mandatory fees and payments, the absence of the fact that the applicant has been held criminally or administratively liable. Women who conduct or plan to conduct activities on the territory of the aggressor state or the Republic of belarus will also not be admitted to the competition.

Conclusions.

Women who prefer to start their own business or already have one can apply and receive a grant of up to 750,000 hryvnias if their idea has a social, ecological or innovative component.
