Who is the "Own Business" grant program for? 

This program was created for those citizens who have long dreamed of creating a small but own business from a small service station, dry cleaners, coffee shops, grocery stores, bakeries, hairdressers, etc. At the same time, it will not be necessary to return funds to the state for receiving a grant if you have created at least one workplace. 

What are the criteria for applying for a grant? 

The terms of the program establish that future entrepreneurs, or already operating FOPs or legal entities that meet the following criteria can apply for a grant:

• the actual location of the enterprise and the implementation of economic activity do not take place in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine;
• the organization does not conduct its economic activity on the territory of the Russian Federation;
• absence of any sanctions;
• bankruptcy proceedings have not been initiated against the organization;
• there is no debt to the budget of Ukraine;
• the absence of a court decision on prosecution for corruption crimes.

What amount of money can be received?

The size of the grant is from UAH 50,000 to UAH 250,000. The grant program provides for the receipt of funds of up to UAH 150,000 under the condition of creating one workplace and hiring an employee, up to UAH 250,000 - it is necessary to create at least two new workplaces.

What can grant funds be spent on under the program? 

The program provides that the grant funds have a specific purpose, namely the purchase of various types of business equipment, raw materials or materials, as well as rent expenses (should not exceed 25% of the grant amount).

What are the obligations in the case of receiving grant funds? 

• Creation of at least one workplace;
• Conduct business activity for at least 3 years;
• Timely payment of taxes to the budget for the future employment of the company's workers. 

How to apply for a grant?

You can apply in two ways: both online and offline.

For online submission you need:

1. Register in "Diya" and create your own account. If you were already registered there, then you need to log in;
2. Fill out the online application in accordance with the requirements indicated on the gov.ua portal ;
3. Attach the created business plan to the application;
4. Sign the application with an electronic signature and send it for consideration.         

For offline submission you need:

Who decides to grant a grant?

 The State Employment Center makes the final decision on issuing grant funds while carrying out:

How long does it take to consider a grant application?

The State Employment Center considers the application within 10 working days after the end of the submission deadline.
