Grant for farmers: what does e-Robota offer?

The e-Robota program is a state support project that allows farmers to receive funds for planting new orchards, vineyards, and berry fields.

The process of submitting a grant application is completely digitized and requires authorization through "Diia," filling out the grant application, and preparing a working project (with justification of the estimated costs).

The main document must include an explanatory note, a general plan, and a working project passport.

At the same time, it must meet the following criteria:

• the area and intended use of the land plot must correspond to the declared crops;
• the presence of an irrigation system is mandatory (water intake source);
• adherence to the normative number of seedlings per 1 hectare.

Who can apply for a state grant for farmers?

The grant for farmers has clear selection criteria. The main list of those eligible for funding includes (individual entrepreneurs) and legal entities (farm enterprises and companies) that are not operating in the zone of active hostilities or in temporarily occupied territories.

At the same time, entrepreneurs engaged in the production of weapons, tobacco, and alcohol cannot receive the grant.

It is also worth noting that if a person wants to receive a grant for growing fruits, they must:

• own or lease the land (for a period of not less than 7 years);
• have funds in their account to finance a 30% share of the project.

What are the main directions of the grant program for farmers in 2026?

Horticulture

The most sought-after direction for supporting farmers remains horticulture, berry growing, and viticulture.

To receive it, the area of the orchard must not exceed 25 hectares and contain only those plantings that are allowed by the grant program (apple, pear, blueberry, cranberry, strawberry, raspberry, nut, grape, peach, apricot, cherry, etc.).

The grant is provided subject to the creation of jobs in the corresponding size (depending on the area of the orchard or vineyard), conducting agribusiness for at least 5 years, and paying taxes during entrepreneurial activity.

Construction of vegetable and fruit storage facilities

In 2026, the government expanded the regular e-Robota garden program to support the agricultural sector. The changes will allow farmers to overcome significant challenges and ensure reliable storage of products throughout the seasonal production.

At the same time, the grant is ready to cover up to 50% of the cost of constructing the storage facilities, if the person is located in a frontline territory. Receiving the grant is directly linked to the obligation of official employment of personnel, the number of which depends on the scale of the object.

Thus, if the storage facility will hold ** up to 6,000 tons of products,** at least 12 permanent employees must be officially employed. The construction must not last longer than 18 months and must be based on technical documentation and a permit.

How much money can a farmer receive from the grant?

In the case of a regular grant for an orchard or vineyard, the payment amount is calculated for each hectare of land - from 140,000 UAH to 400,000 UAH.

At the same time, the grant will cover no more than 70% of the total project cost for planting.

If we talk about the grant for the construction of vegetable and fruit storage facilities, the maximum grant amount is up to 20 million UAH, but it must not exceed 30% of the project cost in total.
