FEATURES OF OBTAINING A RESIDENCE PERMIT IN UKRAINE

In connection with recent events, more and more foreigners are showing a desire to move to Ukraine to live for a long period. For this, as you know, a foreigner needs to arrive and stay on the territory of Ukraine during the entire period of submission of documents. I note that it is NOT POSSIBLE to draw up documents remotely.

In accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, foreign citizens can stay in its territories without other permitted documents for ninety days once every six months, subject to obtaining a type D visa, or start the process of processing documents for temporary or permanent procreation in accordance with legal grounds.

A residence permit, in other more common words, a residence permit in Ukraine, is a document confirming the identity of a foreign citizen and his legal stay in Ukraine on a temporary or permanent basis, but is not a substitute for a passport document.

A residence permit in Ukraine takes from one to three years. Deadlines are set depending on the grounds for processing documents from a foreign citizen. To do this, you must prepare all the necessary package of documents with mandatory confirmation of legal grounds in order to remain in the country.

The next step is to obtain a permanent residence permit. After you have received it, you need to apply to the territorial authority to register the species within 30 days.

• If you want to get an education in Ukraine and have an official receipt and an invitation from an educational institution;
• If your family is located on the territory of Ukraine and are its citizens, and you want to reunite with it;
• If you want to be reunited with the family of foreigners who have a temporary or permanent residence permit here;
• If you provided shooting, tactical, radio engineering, medical and other assistance to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
