DOCUMENTS FOR FORMING A MILITARY PENSION

The Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine dated September 17, 2018 № 760 approved the Instruction on the organization of work on the preparation of documents for the appointment (recalculation) of pensions in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On pension provision of persons discharged from military service and certain other persons" dated April 9, 1992 of the year № 2262-XII and on other social issues" (hereinafter - Instruction; Order № 760).

The Directive establishes the organizational procedure for the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine - the central body of executive power, the activities of which are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (National Police Department of Ukraine, Department of Emergency Situations of Ukraine), the Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine with:

  • preparation of documents for assignment (recalculation) of pensions to persons entitled to a pension in accordance with the Law of Ukraine of April 9, 1992 N 2262-XII "On pension provision of pensioners and certain other persons";
  • issuing, enrolling and issuing a certificate of a combatant, a badge "War veteran - a combatant" (hereinafter - a badge), as well as a certificate of the right of veterans over 50 to a travel document (ticket) % of the cost Discount.

Particular attention should be paid to the organization of work on the preparation of documents for the assignment (recalculation) of a pension.

Accordingly, personnel support (staffing) departments of institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, bodies, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, bodies of the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Guard of Ukraine:

  • calculation of years of service, if necessary, calculation of insurance experience for persons who have acquired the right to a pension, and calculation of years of service for assigning a pension.

The following documents are attached to the calculation of years of service:

- extracts from dismissal orders (from work) and/or dismissal of persons (accounting) in connection with death, indicating years of service;

- a copy of the track record of the person entitled to a pension (deceased breadwinner) (if necessary, additional information from the personal file);

- a copy of a military ticket or a certificate from the military commissariat about the duration of military service (if available);

- employment book and/or document confirming insurance experience (work experience);

  • familiarize persons who have acquired the right to a pension with the calculation of years of service;
  • assist in the preparation of documents for assigning pensions to persons who have acquired the right to a pension.

Within 5 days from the day of receiving information about the acceptance of an individual application for the appointment of a pension, the result of calculating the length of service, together with other documents specified in clause 1 of this clause, is submitted to the authorized structural unit.

 

The financial support (accounting) units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, regional bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that provide services, institutions, establishments and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Central Intelligence Agency and the National Guard of Ukraine prepare:

  • cash certificate;
  • a certificate on the type of monthly additional financial support (scholarships, additional payments, increases) and bonuses for the last 24 consecutive calendar months preceding the month of dismissal, which is submitted in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Pension Security and Certain Other Employees" of Ukraine for the appointment of pensions (hereinafter - information on other types of financial support).

Submit financial certificates and other types of financial support certificates to the authorized structural units within 5 days from the day of receiving information about accepting applications for the appointment of a personal pension.
