DEPARTURE TO A PERMANENT PLACE OF RESIDENCE ABROAD

Sometimes there are situations when one of the child's parents does not give consent for the child to go abroad. If the child has not reached the age of 16 and cannot yet determine his own place of residence, such permission can be obtained through the court.

Apply for permanent residence: who should submit documents?

If a person has reached the age of 16, he submits the documents in person. When such a person is incapacitated or recognized as having limited legal capacity, one of the parents, custodians, guardians does it. Other legal representatives may also join.

Further, the territorial division of the State Internal Revenue Service must inform the applicant about the outcome of the consideration of his application within 5 working days. And the applicant must deregister the place where he lives in our country. After that, domestic and foreign passports are submitted to the State Department of Internal Affairs, where a corresponding mark is made.

In addition to the above, it is also important to obtain a certificate from the fiscal service that personal income tax has been paid and there are no tax liabilities. This certificate is very important, because it will need to be shown to customs.

The decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to issue documents for a person to travel abroad on a permanent residence is valid for 6 months. If she did not apply and complete the documents within this period, such a decision becomes invalid. A corresponding note is made in the application submitted by such a person.
