Correct filling of the application form for the grant
Correctly filling out the grant application (questionnaire) is one of the most important parts of the application process.
Despite the fact that filling out such an application in Diya does not take as much time as preparing a business plan or passing an interview with representatives of the regional employment center, the vast majority of our clients have some difficulties in its preparation.
This article will highlight the main points when filling out a grant application, the most common mistakes when filling it out, and how best to approach its preparation in general.
Let's start with the structure of the grant application.
The application form for the grant program always consists of the following mandatory components:
- Information about the identity of the applicant and his assets in the property. Here, the client must answer a number of general questions about his marital status, contact information, place of registration/actual activity, level of official income for the previous year (if the person is registered as a self-employed person), amount of current credit debt (if any), number of children, housing real estate or transport in ownership, etc.;
- Information on the use of grant funds. A number of questions to which the applicant must answer consists of the following: the amount of the request, how many employees he plans to hire, what he plans to spend the grant funds on, how the grant will help the person in conducting activities, etc.;
- The final part of the application with mandatory confirmation of certain points. At the end of filling out the grant application (questionnaire), the applicant must confirm that he does not conduct activities on the territory of the aggressor state, is not under sanctions, has not been subject to bankruptcy proceedings, is not in the process of being held criminally liable, and other general issues. Upon completion, the client must also check the content of his application and sign it with an electronic digital signature.
Now let's analyze typical mistakes when filling out a grant application, which can affect both the crediting of a lower number of points and the decision to grant it funding in the future.
- First, errors when filling out questions about marital status, the number of children and non-working family members.
First, if you are in an unofficial marriage, the status "unmarried" is selected, since in the future you will need to submit a marriage certificate.
Secondly, if you have children, but they have already reached the age of majority, on the question about the number of children, we indicate a real figure, and on the question about the number of unemployed, we put "0";
- Secondly, mistakes when answering questions about official income, loans.
First of all, a person who registered a sole proprietorship relatively recently and does not have a declaration for the previous year of activity, or is not registered as a business entity at all, should put “0” on the question about the amount of official income (in other cases, a number that is indicated in the declaration).
Secondly, to the question about having accounts in the national bank, the applicant answers "credit" only when he has an open credit obligation at the time of submission (if he simply has existing credit cards - we do not choose);
- Thirdly, errors when filling out the part about the use of the grant.
First, we correctly calculate the planned monthly revenue (we divide the income from the sale of goods and services by 36 months) and the profitability of the business (we divide the remaining funds by the total income from the sale) - all the necessary indicators can be found in the financial part of the business plan.
Secondly, on the issue of the impact of the grant on business, we pay more attention to the public interest, rather than your private one (for example, we note that we will create jobs, support the country's economy, etc.).
Therefore, filling out a grant application (questionnaire), although it is not a difficult stage in the application process, in practice raises a number of questions.
