Building a house or other premises does not mean being its full owner. And all because ownership of real estate comes from the moment of its state registration. Where to start putting real estate into operation?

  • First, the introduction of a built house is the final stage of construction. First, it is necessary to prepare a technical passport for the newly built real estate. To do this, it is necessary to contact business entities that provide services for the production of technical documentation, for example, a technical inventory bureau (BTI).
  • Secondly, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Regulation of Town Planning Activities", it is necessary to apply to the State Inspection of Architecture and Town Planning with a statement and declaration on the readiness of the new building for commissioning. This can be done through the Centers for the provision of administrative services (TsNAP) at the location of the real estate object or through the "Dia" services.
  • Thirdly, if the new building has not been assigned a postal address, it is necessary to contact the local authorities with an application for the assignment of a postal address.
    Where to start putting real estate into operation?

The following documents must be submitted with the application:

  • a copy of documents certifying ownership of the land plot on which the real estate object is built. Such a copy must be notarized;
  • a copy of the passport of the land plot owner;
  • a copy of the declaration on the readiness of the real estate object for operation;
  • a copy of the technical passport of the house;
  • a copy of the geodetic survey of the land plot.

The decision to assign a postal address is reviewed within 15 days, and a corresponding order is issued to assign a postal address to an object of immovable property.

The applicant receives an extract from the Register of postal addresses in electronic and paper forms.

On the basis of all the above-mentioned documents, the newly constructed real estate object is subject to state registration.
