CHAT-BOT The State Migration Service introduces a new electronic service

From now on, get advice on the design of biometric documents and use the official electronic services of the migration service is possible interactively - in popular instant messengers Viber and Telegram. This was announced today, March 12, the Head of the State Tax Administration Maxim Sokolyuk told a news briefing at Ukrinform news agency.

The work of the chat bot is that he will ask a person a few questions about the individual conditions of the document and inform what documents they need to carry with them during the registration process in the Migration Service or the Center for the Provision of Administrative Services (CNTA). In interactive mode you can get advice on the registration of all biometric documents issued by the LCI - ID-card, passport, as well as certificates for permanent and temporary residence for foreigners and stateless persons.

- The highlight of the service is that each person will be able to receive messages in the messenger about each new stage of document execution up to the moment when the document comes to the unit for issue, - said the head of the DMS.

Chat-bot is already the 12th electronic service created by the Migration Service in order to improve the quality of administrative services and reduce corruption risks in the activities of the departments of the LCI. The use of the new service and all electronic services of the migration service is free for citizens.

"Electronic services not only simplify citizens' access to services, but also make migration services as transparent as possible and help to overcome corruption, devaluing it step by step," said Maxim Sokolyuk. - After all, provided that the use of electronic services LCA to give bribes to no one and for what.

The head of the LCA also noted that the site of the migration service visits more than half a million citizens every month, and in general, during 2018, the use of electronic services was 35 million times. The most popular of them is the electronic queue, checking the status of the document and checking the document based on the bases of invalid, lost and stolen.

- Migration service services are in great demand and this means that we are moving in the right direction, - Maxim Sokolyuk emphasized.

The briefing was also attended by Valeriy Bakal, Deputy Head of the State Agency for Electronic Governance of Ukraine, and Oleksiy Kubar, coordinator of the project "Management Reform in the East of Ukraine II", carried out by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Government of Germany.
