CASE STUDY: RECEIVING TWO GRANTS FOR 250,000 UAH “OWN CASE” FOR WIFE FOR TWO PET STORES

The purpose of the client's appeal

Rostislav and Natalya have an active business - a pet store, in which they work independently. Grant funds were planned to be spent on expanding the store and creating new jobs, hiring employees.

Stages of work

On June 27, we signed a cooperation agreement with Natalia. They agreed on what the funds would be used for and began to develop a business plan.

On July 6, we submitted an application and began preparing the client for an interview. On July 18, the client had an interview and on August 7 she received a letter stating that the grant was approved.

The first refusal

Unfortunately, not everything always turns out perfectly and as planned. Sometimes, even when a grant is approved, funds may not be given because the state does not have enough funding for the current wave of applications. So it turned out in our situation.

Despite the fact that Natalia successfully passed all stages of obtaining a grant and won the competition, she did not receive the funds. So she only had to wait for the next stages.

Grant for Rostislav 

While Natalia was waiting for her turn to receive grant funds, Rostyslav decided to open his own FOP and another separate pet store.

On September 19, we signed a contract with Rostislav. They agreed on expenses and developed a business plan.

We submitted an application on September 23, and an interview with the grantor took place on October 3. On October 13, Rostislav received a letter with a positive decision on receiving a grant.

Second refusal

But for the same reason, Rostislav also did not receive funds. There wasn't enough funding for his wave of applications. So both of our clients only had to wait for the next stages of the grant program and their funds.

A positive ending

Fortunately, we didn't have to wait that long - on November 16, the Employment Center congratulated both of our clients with a letter about the successful decision to allocate funds to them. So they only had to open bank accounts to transfer funds.
