Calculation of military pensions
Pensions are calculated as a percentage of the amount of the allowance established by law, taking into account the salary of the relevant position, military (special) rank, percentage allowance for years of service, monthly additional types of cash support (surcharges, allowances) and bonuses established by law. Amounts of payments for compulsory state social insurance.
Thus, three types of pensions are provided for such pensioners:
- for years of service;
- regarding disability;
- in case of loss of breadwinner.
Long-term pensions
This type of provision is assigned to military personnel in two situations:
- after dismissal, regardless of age, with calendar experience of 25 years or more;
- if he or she was 45 years of age or older at the time of discharge and had 25 or more years of service, of which at least 12 years and 6 months were in law enforcement.
These and other pensions are calculated as a percentage based on the amount of salary, rank, seniority allowances, allowances, etc.
Pension 50% for 20 years of service or more, persons exempted due to age or health - 55% of the amount of the corresponding financial support.
In addition, the service life of more than 20 years increases by 3% per year.
If we are talking about a person with 25 years of insurance experience, at least 12 years and 6 months of service in law enforcement agencies, his pension will be 50% of the corresponding financial support, which is charged 1% per person for "extra" years of service. .
The maximum amount of such pensions cannot exceed 70% of the amount of the corresponding monetary support, with one exception - to persons who participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chornobyl NPP and are assigned to categories 1 and 2.
The minimum length of service pension is the minimum subsistence amount for disabled persons.
If this amount does not correspond to the minimum military pension, additional assistance will be allocated.
Disability pension
They are distributed to disabled people caused by the war in the following proportion:
- disabled persons of the 1st group - 100%;
- II group – 80%;
- III group - Cash support (income) in the amount of 60% of the corresponding amount.
Survivor's pension
Such pension benefits are distributed to disabled family members of dead or missing servicemen, provided that this occurred during service or no later than 3 months after discharge.
Amount and calculation of pension in case of loss of breadwinner:
- Family members of servicemen who died (died) from wounds, contusions or injuries received during the defense of the Motherland, pensioners, other persons who have the right to pension in accordance with this Law, liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP or other obligations regarding the passage military service (official), or due to an illness related to the front, in partisan units and units and underground organizations and groups recognized as such by the legislation of Ukraine, liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster or participation in hostilities in peacetime, i.e. parents (one parent), wife (husband), other disabled family members of the deceased (deceased) breadwinner, if one of the disabled family members has the right to receive a pension - in the amount of 70% For two or more disabled family members , who are entitled to a pension from the pecuniary maintenance (wages) of the deceased breadwinner of each disabled family member (except parents and spouse (husband)) - in the form of 50% of the pecuniary maintenance (wages) of the deceased breadwinner of each disabled family member. Unable to work family members who died in the war, including children who lost both parents, the pension is calculated in a single amount regardless of the cause of death of the breadwinner;
- to family members of military personnel who died as a result of an accidental mutilation not related to military service (duty) or as a result of an illness that arose in connection with military service, 30 percent of the family member's earnings are paid for one disabled family member who lived.
