That is, startups are created to solve real problems of a certain category of citizens, which makes them attractive to many investors and sponsors.

What are the current programs for startups in 2024?

1. Grant for startups from EIT Manufacturing Accelerate.

This grant program is aimed at supporting and providing monetary financing to startups, companies that create innovative solutions and technologies that solve important problems in the manufacturing sector, help this sector become more efficient and competitive at the global level.

The main goal of the grant program is to solve critical industrial problems in the following areas, namely: digitization and automation of all processes at the enterprise, conducting industry with zero consumption of energy resources, renewable energy, circular economy.

And also some of these technologies: AI, robotics, additive manufacturing, quantum computing, photonics and many others. The minimum grant amount that can be received is up to EUR 50,000, the maximum is EUR 500,000.

To participate in the program, you must meet a number of criteria, such as:

• the startup must develop new services, products and solutions for its customers and have a business model - B2B (business for business);
• the startup must have any innovative product or service that helps achieve one of the main goals of the grant program;
• the startup must demonstrate reliable business planning and include in the team people who can conduct business and technical expertise of the project.

The application deadline is December 16, 2024.

2. International grant of "Green" startups from Climatelaunchpad- is the world's largest competition of ideas looking for business solutions to combat climate change on earth.

Startups from more than 50 countries can participate in the grant program, but applicants must meet the following criteria, namely:

• the startup is engaged in the development of technologies that help improve the climate on the planet;
• the startup must be registered at least 12 months ago;
• the startup does not have any client base;
• no investment of more than EUR 200,000 thousand was made in the startup;
• the startup's total profit from the sale of goods must not exceed EUR 200,000 thousand at the time of submitting the corresponding grant application;
• startup founders must speak English at a level sufficient to understand English-speaking trainers and coaches.

The final part of the program involves receiving funds, but the organizers of the grant emphasize that the main task of the competition is the exchange of experience and knowledge between its participants.

The application deadline is June 19, 2024.
