Types of vacations

Among the main types of vacations are:

• due to family circumstances.

There are situations when, during service, a serviceman receives an injury or simply a serious aggravation of one or another disease. In this case, he is legally entitled to social leave until the end of the treatment period. However, such a decision must be made by the VLK.

As for creative leave, it can be the defense of a dissertation or, for example, a speech at a scientific conference. Such activity becomes possible within the framework of current legal norms, if a serviceman has creative leave. It is clear that her reason must be sufficiently respectable.

Vacations in peacetime and martial law

It is obvious that the regulation of vacations in peacetime and wartime is different. When we talk about the current period, leave cannot be more than 10 days and be granted earlier than 3 months from the moment of enlistment. This does not apply to social leave due to injury, the expediency of which was determined by the VLK.

Regarding the vacation report, there are some general rules that apply to all reports. So, they are as follows:

• in some cases, it is necessary to add documents to the report that confirm the reason for the leave (for example, specific family circumstances);
• the report is drawn up in 2 copies;
• 1 copy is submitted by the military serviceman to the commander, and the other is kept for himself;
• the copy that you will keep with you is also provided for registration, so that the registration number and date are recorded on it;
• if the commander does not accept the report, it can be sent by registered mail with a delivery note;
• when submitting a report, one must observe subordination – i.e. first it is submitted to the company commander, and then, if necessary, to the battalion commander.
