Case: Helped to release a serviceman from military service due to the disability of his wife (III group)
In April, the wife of a military serviceman turned to the Legal Company “Prikhodko & Partners” with a request for help in her husband’s dismissal from military service. Since she is a person with a disability of the III (third) group, and they also have a disabled child. According to Art. 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”, military personnel are released due to the presence of a spouse (husband) from among persons with disabilities and/or one of their parents or the parents of the wife (husband) from among persons with disabilities I or II groups.
Military law lawyer, Zvonenko Yaroslav, started his work by conducting an initial consultation with the client.
After the consultation, the movement vector and the list of necessary documents were determined. The support of the client began precisely with the help in collecting the necessary package of documents.
After the first stage of work has been completed for our client, namely, a complete package of documents confirming his right to be released from military service has been collected. The next stage was the preparation of documents to start the process of discharge from military service, namely: discharge report and a cover letter for sending the report through the higher military command.
After receiving information about the registration of the report and accepting it for consideration, for the purpose of control, a lawyer’s request was sent to the military unit where our client served.
As a result of the work done, the man was released, he is now at home with his family.
